Tyne and Max ~ I Do

Tyne and Max were married at Monterey Church of Christ in Lubbock, Texas. This was the weekend before the snow storms and it was beautiful outside with a touch of wind. Tyne and Max decided to see each other before the ceremony which gave me some extra time to shoot just the two of them. I learned of how they met which is too cute not to share. Max picked Tyne out of a crowd and as she walked by, he yelled, "Hey pretty tall girl!" Almost a year later, pretty tall girl and Max are now husband and wife:) Here are my favorites from the day! Congratulations!

Callie and Tim ~ I Do

Callie and Tim are a breath of fresh air! Like so many of my clients, they were so easy to work with and delightful to be around. Aside from their wedding day, another celebration took place a few months ago as they brought a precious baby girl into the world. She looked so precious in her miniature red dress!

One thing I have to mention of course is that Tim is from New Zealand. Some of his family and friends came all the way to McKinney for the wedding and yes I loved talking with them just so I could hear their accent. Guilty! I loved that they incorporated treats and music from New Zealand. Tim's mom gave me a New Zealand chocolate pie to take home with me. LOVE!

I love how they met! Hopefully I tell this right;) Callie's step father is a professor where Tim attended college. Her step father and mother fell in love with him and wanted to introduce him to Callie immediately! They did and the rest is history:)

Callie and Tim were married in McKinney at the Cotton Mill. I've shot a few weddings there and it's always amazing to see how each client can transform the place:) As for getting ready, I met up with Callie and the girls downtown at the Grand Hotel.

Gorgeous!!

The bottom two are my favorites:)

Angela and Lucas ~ I Do

Yay! First Wedding of the new year:) Angela and Lucas were the perfect start for me! Both so sweet and up for anything. They were married at the beautiful Immaculate Conception Catholic Church followed by a reception at the Buffalo Valley Event Center. I really loved how this venue looked and the people who work there were on top of their game:)

We started the day at a friend's house and it was fabulous with lots of space and window lighting which is always a great combination for good photos.

Angela has the most amazing smile!

These were some great bridesmaids! Thank you ladies! Take special attention to the hand made bouquets full of antique brooches and pins. Good idea Angela!

Here's the famous Lucas! I can't leave out how great the guys were too. Thanks for all the "close buddy" pictures:)

Above: LOVE!

Below: Reception Time ~ Some of my favorite details/moments at the reception included a photo booth. Not just any photo booth, but they had a couch, lots of props, open frames, and their names hanging above with adorable decorations around. You can kind of get an idea on the last photo. My favorite moment had to be when Lucas surprised Angela with a song he had written for her and as you will see, this was a hit:)

Thank you Angela and Lucas!

Jaclyn and Chris ~ Engagments

I had so much fun with Jaclyn and Chris on their E-session:) They were my first session of the new year and if this was any indication of how 2011 will go, I am thrilled. Abilene was our location as Jaclyn is finishing her last semester at Abilene Christian University. Chris, however travels all over the place as he plays professional baseball for the LA Dodgers. After hearing this and that Jaclyn plays tennis for ACU, I was of course impressed and wanted to contribute, but I've heard cheerleading is not an actual sport:(

Check them out. They are adorable! Can't wait till December!

Kai and Graham ~ Engagments

Kai and Graham are saying I do in March and what a great day it will be! Kai and Graham met at the phone store where Graham works. Kai's phone had broken and Graham remembers rushing through his customer so he could talk to her. Just a perfect meet cute! Here are my favorites from their e-session:)
